The past two years have been extremely challenging for cybersecurity. In this presentation, in addition to seeing an outstanding demonstration, you will understand the state and reality of the situation and learn how to be part of the solution. The talk is led by an ethical hacker, trainer and long-time speaker who knows firsthand the methods of cyberattacks and how to mitigate their risk before they hit your business.

Holding several security certifications, such as CEH (Certified Ethical Hacker), multiple firewall systems and data analysis and infrastructure tools, Mr. Villeneuve has over 25 years of experience in information technology for different types of companies and in different countries.

He has worked, among others, as chief of security at BPR, IT director at the centre for research in mathematics CIMAT (Centro de Investigación en Matemáticas), ethical hacker for the Quebec government, as well as for other large companies such as CAA-Quebec, Industrial Alliance and Genivar, to name a few.
